Neulamäki, Kuopio Suomi Finland. Vuorilampi is a conservation area located in the suburbs of Kolmisoppi and Neulamäki of Kuopio. The reserve is sized 230 hectares. This tree is located at the highest cliff at the altitude of 70 metres just above the pond Vuorilampi.

Vuorilampi

Some 10 years ago there was a fire raging at the cliff forest caught by a matchstick play of youngsters. The fire was extinguished by the firemen and a helicopter. One can still see the black marks on the trees there but luckily this ol' crooked pine was safe from the flames.
