Kirjeldus
After walking for about five hours, mainly in the hot sun, resting with this view was most welcome. This is another ruins, about three hours behind Choquequirao. To the left is a water spout, part of an ancient water system that still runs. Very little is known about this place, Pinchaunioc, but it has a rare serenity, even in the peaceful grandeur of the valley. I spent half an hour eating lunch on this spot, resting my feet in the clear water, and drinking in the palpable connection between Taita Inti (father sun) and the Pachamama (mother earth). I heard about this place from a local, who told me I could make the trip in a day from his village, 4km outside of Choquequirao. Some say that the deep system of terraces was part of the larger complex of the main fortress, and that there is still much to be discovered, still swallowed by the mountain jungle.
