Chori Sacred Stones on Chori Hills
Kirjeldus
The first stone spotting three smaller ones on the peak were a proof of bravado by three young teenagers who were hunting in the area 100s of years ago and argument started as to who would be able to climb to the peak of the hill as no one had ever achieved that feat. One of them, as the story goes, told them it was a child’s play, and to proof his claim he quickly climbed up in a lizard-like style. While on top, he asked his other two friends to throw up those three stones which he arranged as can be seen. For generations those stones have been there. •The second stone arrangement is one of many marvelous natural occurrences that are found on most of hills in Ham Land. Local hunters still pass through this location for some inspiration believing that it brings them luck and wades away harm.
